Crafted with a blend of performance-driven polyester, the Sun Dog Pant is designed for warm-weather riding, offering a lightweight construction for maximum comfort and protection. Notably, the pant’s material uses a bio-based stretch yarn instead of spandex, making it easy to recycle when a product reaches its end of life, underscoring Curious Creatures’ commitment to sustainability. Additionally, the pant features a regular fit, mid-rise pull-on knit waistband, secure zippered thigh pockets, and overlapping cuffs for added ventilation and easy on and off of knee pads. 

The summer collection also includes extended sizing in the best-selling Ramble Scramble Short, available in three colorways. Renowned for its premium quality and timeless design, the Ramble Scramble Short features a slim fit, mid-high rise, and multiple pockets for convenience on the trails.

Both the women’s Sun Dog Pant and Ramble Scramble Short will now be offered in an extended size range, with the pant catering to sizes 0 through 18 and the Ramble Scramble short offering 0-22. This expansion reflects Curious Creatures’ commitment to inclusivity and ensuring every rider can find their perfect fit.

The Men’s Ramble Scramble Long is a new take on the best-selling Ramble Scramble Short. With an 11.5” inseam, this version caters to those with longer legs, those who integrate kneepads into their gear, or anyone seeking more coverage. The Ramble Scramble Long features a stretchy and durable 100% polyester body, classic 5-pocket styling, a side drop-in pocket, and a secure phone pocket on the side. The back pocket adds a subtle tonal color pop, maintaining a sense of fun and irreverence. The fabric, made of 100% polyester for moisture management and performance, uses a bio-based stretch yarn instead of spandex, making the shorts recyclable at the end of their life. Originally requested by men, the Ramble Scramble Long has standard men’s sizing but has been tested on both men and women, encouraging any gender to enjoy its longer design. 

The Men’s Sun Dog Pant is a men’s specific version of the beloved Sun Dog pant. It features a low-bulk elastic pull-on waistband for comfort and a faux fly to eliminate bulk when bent over in the riding position. New to this design is a secure zip pocket at the back and two secure pockets on the thighs. The slim cuff has a snap opening for easy on and off of kneepads, with an extra snap to cinch the cuff down tight. The pant has extensive articulation built into the knee panels for ultimate freedom of movement while pedaling and descending and a reinforcement panel on the right leg for added durability. Both new items will be available in sizes 28-40.

Skyway Ski Sauvage
The most iconic symbol of this union between skiing and music is the Skyway Ski Sauvage event on Tuesday, March 26th. Led by blackcrows’ co-founders Camille Jaccoux and Bruno Compagnet, this extraordinary experience combines the adrenaline rush of skiing with the infectious rhythms of electronic music. 

Participants will embark on a journey, ascending to the summit of the Aiguille du Midi before embarking on a ski tour to the Monte Bianco Skyway. Against the backdrop of majestic peaks, attendees will be treated to a mesmerizing musical session by Agents of Time on the Skyway terrace. The adventure culminates with a breathtaking ski descent through the famed Vallée Blanche, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all involved.

Lucas, born and raised in Bend, Oregon, has deep roots in the skiing community and has spent most of his life honing his craft on the slopes of Mt. Bachelor. With a background in freestyle pipe and park, he has seamlessly transitioned into backcountry skiing and film projects. His journey has taken him across North America and overseas to destinations like Japan and Europe, working with renowned production companies such as Matchstick Productions, Teton Gravity Research and Level 1. Lucas has also independently produced projects that showcase his love for the outdoors and his expressive style on snow. 

As Lucas embarks on this new chapter with blackcrows, he expresses his excitement and alignment with the brand. “I am really happy to be joining the blackcrows team.
