SAM'S CLUB comparable sales without gasoline sales would have been 4.8% for the October four-week period. Total U.S. comparable sales would have been 4.0% without the SAM'S gasoline sales. During the four-week and thirty-nine- week periods, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. added over $2.2 billion and $20.6 billion in sales, respectively.
WMT estimates that comparable sales in the U.S. for the November four-week period to be in the 3% to 5% range.
