Raen, the independent eyewear brand, has promoted Jesse Northcott from CFO to president and chief executive officer. He brings over 20 years of experience in finance and operations, working for the company and with other industry brands.

As CFO at Raen, Northcott drove key initiatives across all teams, improving operational efficiency, inventory management, and financial planning, laying a solid foundation for the company’s future growth.

“Our focus on lean inventory management and strategic processes has ensured efficient and effective business operations,” said Northcott. “The first two quarters of the year have produced the best profitability Raen has seen in several years, demonstrating the brand’s strong performance and growth.

“I want to start by acknowledging the valuable contributions of the entire team. Success in any organization is never the result of one individual but rather the collective effort of a dedicated team working towards a common goal,” Northcott continued. “Building on our strengths, we will leverage the expertise of our founders, Jeremy Heit, Jordan Percy and Justin Heit, who remain actively involved in guiding the brand’s creative and strategic direction. This synergy ensures that the brand stays true to its roots while continually evolving and pushing the boundaries of design and quality.”

Early in his career, Northcott was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, which instilled in him a “disciplined, mission-focused approach and a relentless commitment to excellence.”

Before stepping into his current role, Northcott was the chief financial officer for Raen and Linksoul, steering business strategies and operational excellence. Before that, he worked at Razer, Inc. as deputy general manager and head of Finance and Accounting for the Americas, along with positions at Blizzard Entertainment, Volcom, Quiksilver, Lakai Footwear/Girl Skateboards, and DC Shoes.
