The RV Industry Association (RVIA) reported that its June survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments for the month ended with 25,308 units, an increase of 5.0 percent compared to the 24,095 units shipped in June 2023.
Travel Trailers were the only positive category in the total RV shipments, growing 16.3 percent and accounting for the positive shipments for all towable RVs.
“RV shipments were up in June, with the greatest increase coming from travel trailer shipments that are up 19 percent for the year,” said RVIA’s President and CEO Craig Kirby. “As consumers continue to look for affordable ways to vacation, RVs provide consumers with the freedom to travel while also controlling their costs and itineraries in a way that is easier than with traditional travel options.”
Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month up 11.4 percent compared to last June with 23,020 shipments. Motorhomes finished the month down 33.2 percent compared to June last year with 2,288 units.
RVs are up 8.4 percent compared to the same month last year, with 178,596 units shipped through June.
Park Model RVs finished June down 13.8 percent compared to the same month last year, with 337 wholesale shipments.
