According to an SEC filing on Tuesday, August 6, Under Armour’s Chief Consumer Officer, Jim Dausch, will leave the company at the end of August “to pursue other opportunities.”
Dausch was appointed to the position by former CEO Stephanie Linnartz in July 2023. He was formerly chief product officer at Marriott International, where Linnartz had been president.
Both Dausch and Linnartz had worked for over 20 years at Marriott, where Dausch led a multi-year program to modernize its technology systems to improve the customer experience and drive revenue.
Dausch’s pending exit comes as Under Armour announced on Tuesday, August 6, that Eric Liedtke, former brand president at Adidas, joined the company as EVP of brand strategy. Under Armour also announced it agreed to acquire Unless Collective, a zero-plastic regenerative fashion brand founded by Liedtke in 2020.
Liedtke will oversee marketing responsibilities in his new role at Under Armour, including loyalty, creative, sports marketing, consumer intelligence, and marketing operations.
Liedtke reports to Kevin Plank, who returned to the company in the CEO role this past April. He replaced Linnartz.
